About Us
Our Story is a long one, about 45 years old long, that's when our family business first started. Laurie and Val Vieritz the founders of Gympie Pest Control handed his legacy to his daughter and son in Law, Kym and Dale Coomber. 2001 was the year and Gympie Carpet Cleaning was introduced.
After raising their children and spending way to much time in the office Kym loved the Property Management industry and realised that there was no one to do all move out services in 1 call, so that's how Gympie Pest and Clean was born.
Kym enlisted some help from some lovely ladies that had been in the cleaning game for a long time and taught her all they new. To this day these are the same practices that are used in Kym's training with new staff, good old style cleaning with elbow grease, all our staff are locals and we do not out source our cleaning to other company's. We use products from local suppliers and have been using those same products for years.
Dale finishes off the clean with Carpets and Pest Control and we don't contract to other companies so it starts with us and ends with us, no passing the buck.
